Versatile Vest
I own 6 LL Bean vests of various styles and colors. This is the most versatile. It can be worn 12 months a year on the California central coast and is a must have for late spring or early fall elsewhere. It looks good with a T shirt and shorts going to the grocery store or with chinos and button down shirt at a restaurant. The neutral weathered oak heather color goes with a variety of outfits. Downside: I miss the zippered side and chest pocket now only available in the sweater fleece vest and the cost is a little pricey though quality and value are good.

great fit and not to heavy
Got this in and came back to order another. Great fit (I'm a tall M) and really good -not too heavy, will be good to layer in early spring as it's not the typical mid- weight fleece .

Runs quite large
So I am 6-1 and 210 lbs and i wear an XL in everything. An XL in this was like a dress on me. Returned it for a L and its still too big. The waist has no elastic and makes it look huge. I'll probably keep it bc I don't want to waste any more money shipping it back but I am quite disappointed.
