This longtime customer favorite is now equipped with even more features like a hydration/laptop sleeve and a fleece-lined electronics/sunglasses pocket - and built with ultra-durable, recycled fabric in the body.
We've redesigned our best pack ever. It's been updated with new, durable recycled main body fabric, tough 600D Kodra bottom and a rugged 210D nylon lining. A new top lid pocket is perfect for electronics or sunglasses. Front pocket is equipped with two side-release closures instead of a zipper for easier access. And this has been accomplished while preserving its retro rucksack style.

L. L. Bean daypack
This is a quality product but there are some aspects that have been overlooked. There are no external features where carabiners can be utilized.
It is a very comfortable with unexpected storage space.

Not as much internal storage capacity
I bought this to serve as both a field backpack and an onboard bag (plane) for a study abroad trip to Costa Rica. While the bag is good, it didn't have the internal space that I expected from a bag of this size so I didn't end up taking it with me on my trip. I do plan to keep it - it's a great bag for other uses - and being L.L. Bean, I expect it to serve me well for many years.

Fabulous Travel Bag
