Okay, But They’re Not as Good as the GumShoes
Well made of quality materials and sturdy, reliable, waterproof rain slip-on shoes. They do run large, so as the description on the product site recommends, do size down one whole size. I sized down about a half size because these were final sale and I’d rather risk their being too large and putting in extra padded insoles or wearing thick knitted socks. It’s hard to tighten them enough because of the lacing system, which is a first for me. It goes around the rim of the shoe and then through one single loop at the end of that leather lace. Extremely difficult to pull tight. Then the ends of the laces go through the two holes punched into the flaccid leather exterior tongue of the shoe. It’s awkward and cumbersome to tie and tie tight enough, but once they are tied, they’re supposed to be kept that way. The shoe slips on and off. I like the low profile and the slip-on ease, but I hate the lacing mechanism and the loose outer tongue design where the laces are tied closed. I prefer the lacing of the BeanBoots, but wish I could get them in this low height. I will put in another padded insole in at least one shoe that is on my slightly smaller foot. They did come in a wide width for women, though, and I am grateful. The nice shiny dark brown rubber on one of them got scratched on concrete or something outside and I only wore them twice when I noticed that happened. There’s no way to smooth that out of the rubber.

Great Little Shoes / Rain or Shine
Every year I say I’m going to order these shoes for our rainy spring season and every year I forget and then rainy season is over. This year I ordered them well before spring and they have been a godsend with our rainy season this year. They are comfortable and stylish and keep my feet warm and dry. I’m sorry I waited so long to order them. They’re perfect!

I bought these rubber moc shoes as sturdy yard shoes that I could just slip off and on. However they are so comfortable I wear them to meetings, car shows, shopping...oh, and to do yardwork and ..whatever I need to do - they work!

Pay attention- these run very large
I should have paid better attention to the reviewers that noted how large these shoes run. Even LL Bean recommended sizing down if between sizes. Did I listen? No. I love the shoes, but the fit just didn’t justify keeping them.

Perfect fit. I have long toes and wear an 8.5 and sized down a full size per the website. Literally a perfect fit. My fit flopped out at first so I tightened the straps and the shoes stay on my feet. Couldn’t be happier with my purchase. I have 2 or 3 other bean boots and love the convenience not having a boot around my ankle on like rain days.

Perfect Rainy day errand running shoe!
Bought these in December and they’re perfect for taking the dog out or running to the coffee shop.the leather trim is starting to get a nice patina on it.comfortable shoe. I 100% recommend it.they fit almost like a clog shouldn’t be too tight but not too loose.you should have room for socks etc..
