Almos Perfect
I bought this several weeks ago and have not yet worn as it is a blazing hot summer at the moment. The sale was good and it will eventually rain and get cooler so I can't really comment on the ability to keep your feet dry but I'm sure it will be fine. These boots have been around a long time. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is cosmetic. When you tie the shoes the top area gets puckered. ( It doesn't look like the picture in real time. ) I am not sure I like that however , I have wanted a pair for some time so I'm just going to let it ride. Slip ons would avoid this issue but I wanted the traditional rain shoe. I have a pair of fleece lined LL Bean boots that I love during the winter but I wanted something to wear when it's not so cold but rainy which is Spring & Fall.
Also the laces are a bit strange. A little short. They don't seem as substantial as I think they should be.
I do expect these shoes to last a long time. LL Bean has been making these for like 100 years!

Comfortable and fit well
I bought these about a month ago. Didn’t really know if I liked them when I got them. Now, I love them! I wear them in and around my horse barn. When I have to go get the horses from the field, my feet stay nice and dry. They are comfortable and fit well. I did read the reviews about the size running a little big. I usually wear an 8 1/2. I ordered an 8 and they fit great!
