Not Typical Bean Quality
I bought this a few months ago as a replacement for another, Bean, long sleeve shirt for the summertime. Now that I need it (warm in Arizona already) it just doesn't work as well as I hoped. The fabric is heavier than expected, and kinda "slippery" - not like cotton at all. The snaps are difficult for me - buttons would be better. Overall construction techniques for the pockets are less than ideal. Sleeve length is noticeably longer than other long-sleeve Bean shirts I own - and there are many - just short of a dozen. Will take a closer look on future purchases and be certain to try on as soon as they arrive. No more thoughts about "it being a Bean, no worries".

Sizing is quite large. Sleeve length on xxl-Tall is almost 38"! Great shirt nonetheless...

Versatile Shirt
Love how lightweight and easy to dry it is, and the snap buttons are great for quick on/off. The body of the shirt fit great for a husky guy, but the arms and shoulders and forearms were a little tight.

Fishing shirt
Love it. Got to get used to snaps rather than buttons, but that's not difficult. Good weight; OK, kinda like Goldilocks, but it works well. I've got the sage green shirt; might consider buying a red one, too. Sleeves tend to be long, but much better than short.

Multi-purpose shirt
I bought this as more of a hiking shirt and it’s been great for that. I actually prefer the snap buttons to regular buttons, and the adobe is a striking shirt to wear out on hikes through Europe. It’s movable and breathable (will consider it for golf in the fall too). My only complaint is that the adobe looks great but the other two colors don’t do the cut of the shirt justice. I think slightly more interesting colors would help.
