Worked Great at -2°F
About one week ago, I was at Blue Mountain, Canada at a ski resort. The temp was -2°F for two days. My activity level was walking around the ski resort outside all day in the snow with some standing in lines outside. We also road the Mountain Coaster twice. What I wore underneath was an old name brand thermal base layer, and a thick 3/4 zip shirt on top of that. Not one time did I feel like my torso or arms were cold. And, when I felt my hat wasn't providing enough warmth for my head I used the included hood. It was great! I am 6'5" and 220 lbs, so I got the XLT (Not XL. There was no XLT size option for the review) size. It fit perfectly. Usually the sleeve length is different to get right for me but this jacket's were perfect. Traveling with the jacket, I stuffed it into my carry-on backpack, which took up probably 80% of all available space. The only negative thing I can say about the jacket is that some of the jipper flap cover buttons were difficult to snap especially with gloves on. One button was strategical placed around my throat, so it had to put heavy into my throat to get snapped. That was pretty uncomfortable at times. Maybe there is a better technique that I am unaware of to accomplish this. Also, I did see a few pieces of down pocking through the jacket after storing in my carry-on. Nothing major.
Overall, I was super happy with the purchase. It actually looked better to me in person than it did in the website pictures. I highly recommend for extreme cold temps where your activity level will be low.

Snug yet roomy
Very snug and warm yet also roomy. Removing the Hood is a little tricky with hidden snaps. Hood also comes down too far, covering face. Slightly annoying details in a really good product.

Warm,lightweight and stylish jacket
It was our first time in Chicago, and I bought this for my husband in late November. Since then, Chicago has mostly had temperatures ranging from around 35°F down to below zero. In all weather conditions, with proper layering, the jacket performed very well. It’s also super lightweight and has become my husband’s favorite jacket. We can walk 90-120 mins daily comfortably.
At first, it tended to shed a few feathers, but now we only notice this rarely.
