A seriously soft and substantial hooded sweatshirt in a long-lasting cotton/polyester blend. Our heavyweight fabric is brushed on the inside for an extra-cozy feel.
The Katahdin Iron Works operated in the north woods for much of the 19th century, employing thousands of hardworking Mainers. Inspired by their grit and strength, we designed our Katahdin Iron Works line of rugged work clothes to stand up to all kinds of rough use.

Great Hoodie, Except for the Bottom Hem
This is a nice, substantial unlined hoodie. The quality seems great. However, I dislike the bottom hem. It has no elastic and hangs like a dress. In my case, this hoodie was a little large compared to others I have purchased at LL Bean. Were it not for the hem, I would give it 5 stars

Questionabke quality
A few random holes appeared on one of my sleeve cuffs after 13 months. I’ve worn and washed this hoodie no more than 10 times since it was bought new.

Great fit
Ordered the men's medium vs the women's large as I wanted a fit for over other clothing. This fit really well for gardening activity. The women's large are typically to small in the arms and the XL are too long in the sleeves.

I bought the red chestnut color. Love the fit and feel of this full zipper hoodie sweatshirt. It’s a nice weight and works well for warmth with base layers on chilly hikes . Also good for everyday casual wear. Comfy without being bulky.
