We gave this backpack to our son-in-law for Christmas, on the advice of our daughter. He uses it for work. He seemed VERY happy when he opened it and remarked on liking it later.

Don't Get This Item Monogrammed!
This is a nicely proportioned backpack, but I am very disappointed because it arrived in damaged condition. The navy color was scraped off in numerous places. I assume this occurred to the monogramming machine that was utilized. I had planned to take this item on my next trip.

Nice, solid, sharp looking bag...
Purchased just before a recent trip from NY to HI. Served its purpose and held up splendidly during prolonged travel. Very pleased with purchase. Made me realize how horribly ugly/clunky my older (long used) backpacks are.

Great fabric and design, some detail issues
I've had this bag for about a year and used it occasionally in that time. It looks great, and the overall bag is solid. One major issue though is the little leather patch on the front - it detached but left the little metal prongs behind, so there are sharp little metal objects floating around the bottom of the bag now.
This could be a five star bag if that had just been sewn on instead, because I otherwise love it.
