I live in the Bay Area where temperatures drop below 45 in the mornings and rise to 70 in the afternoon, before they drop to 50 again by evening. This is a great jacket for cold weather that varies in the 40-70 F ranges. It keeps me warm and is good for layering. I love the hood and the ability to zip it away when I don’t need it. It’s only 4 stars because I was a little disappointed by the quality. I’m not sure this coat will last more than a couple years. Fingers crossed.

Back Bay Women's Jacket
This is an addition to my jacket purchased 15 years ago that is still going strong! The previous jacket has furry lining inside and on the collar. The back bay Jacket is an up-scale cousin and it will be used often. I like the high collar, that it is longer in back, and has hidden zipper pocket inside. It is warm, comfortable , and a step above. Most of the newer jackets are quilted on the outside. I like the inner quilting preventing air slipping in . Many thumbs up.

Really like the fit and feel of this jacket. Not bulky which feels good while driving. I like the zippered pockets and the inside zippered pocket. The collar feels great up around the neck and chin.

Sleeves Way Too Long!
The petite small that I ordered fit well enough, except that the sleeves were several inches too long and could not be cinched enough to prevent the sleeves from extending halfway down my hands where they got in the way of life. Returned!
