Product Details
Our legendary boot - beautifully crafted in buttery-soft, gently tumbled leather in an easy-to-wear Chelsea design.
Whoever says, "they don't build things like they used to," doesn't own a pair of these. Our iconic boots are still sewn right here in Maine one pair at a time by expert craftspeople whose technical skills and passion for their work is evident in every pair they make. As rugged and hardworking as they were over 100 years ago, chances are you'll only ever need one pair.
- Premium full-grain leather upper is gently tumbled for a remarkably soft, broken-in feel.
- Pull-on loop and stretchy goring provide easy on/off (goring not waterproof).
- Iconic triple-needle stitching provides long-lasting durability.
- Legendary chain-tread outsole gives reliable traction.
- Uniquely shaped foot form offers comfort and stability, and a steel shank adds support.
- Waterproof rubber boot bottom keeps feet dry.
- Best for rain, mud and other wet conditions.
- Not designed to stay submerged in water.

The quality is great and they’re very comfortable. Plus they’re waterproof. Much better than other footwear for outdoors.

Bean Boots 6.5" Chelsea Mens
I wore LL Bean boots for years at one time. I ordered this pair, I ordered one size down which was a size 12 medium width. The boots were so wide and big I wouldn't have been able to walk in them without them coming off. The D width seems more like a EE width. I sent them back and ordered another pair size 11 1/2 D width. Same problem, the length was better on my size 13 foot, but the width is the problem. At one time they made Bean Boots in a narrow width, they need to go back to that.

Great work boot
Perfect for wet muddy yard work. Quality leather. Not a good walking shoe though, heels slip.
