Perfect Fit!
Bought the jeans for my brother since his current jeans were being trimmed to shorts - suggestion was only L.L. Bean would do. So, I did and ordered him 1 pair to make sure it was right size for wear. Arrived on 3/4/26 - got the text from my brother that the 1912 Jeans were PERFECT and appreciated. So, month's end will be 2nd pair to add to his wardrobe. Thank you - LLBean -been a favorite of his for eons!

Held up for only four months of light use.
I bought these jeans in October because I have been very happy with the quality and value of other products I have purchased from L.L. Bean over the years, including a cabin sleeping bag that lasted 30 years, a couple light jackets, and several button-up shirts. I have noticed a significant drop off in quality and craftsmanship in Levi's jeans, and I have been getting pretty tired of paying good money for jeans that held up for a year or so before a hole appears in an awkward place in the pants--usually the crotch or the next to the double-stitched corners of the rear pockets. I am a school teacher and am pretty easy on clothing these days.
The Vintage 1912 jeans lasted just about 4 1/2 months, approximately 12-14 washes, before holes opened up next to the back pockets. Significantly large holes. Holes that would reveal to anyone behind me what the color and theme of underwear I am wearing. Very disappointed. Think I'll be trying out another brand to find something that can hold up to daily commutes, sitting at my desk, and walking my dog.

Great but…..
Everything is good, except the styling. I like it sit lower on the waist, but the legs are a little tighter than what I would prefer. A little more loose on the legs would be perfect for me.

I bought these in February 2025. They are now falling apart at the seams of the rear pockets. They have lasted the least number of months of any jeans I have purchased from LL Bean in over 20 years.

Rear Pockets tear after 1 year
These pants developed tears along the seam of the rear pockets 1 year after purchase. This is the 2nd pair of jeans for which I have experienced this problem. Very comfy but the quality is poor.

Comfortable and Expressive Jeans
The Vintage 1212 jeans are, as far as I am concerned, the best. They fit wonderfully, look great, and are soft. One thing that is nice is that this particular jean stays on the market. I have bought three pairs over a two-year time frame.
