Soft, cozy knit
I love the charcoal color of this sweater and the high neck. The style is a bit long for my petite frame, but that's my fault for not looking closer at the photos. The fit is nice, roomy, but it tends to bunch across my collarbone and I have to keep tugging it flat. The knit is very soft and cozy, and I have not experienced any pilling yet. I wash it on delicate, inside out. So far, so good!

Pills, pills and more pills!
I bought this sweater and when it arrived I loved it! Then I wore it one time and won’t be able to wear it again. It is COVERED with pills. Not just a few where you expect like under arms, down sides, but EVERYWHERE. Such a complete waste of money. I’m really disappointed in LL Bean lately, quality and performance has gone down but prices continue to go up!

Not L.L.Bean quality
Unfortunately, the reviews I read about this sweater were true. Mine started pilling badly the first time I wore I wore it. Only sale price made it worthwhile as I have a sweater shaver. Cheap materials are beneath your reputation for a quality product. Disappointed.

Lots of pills
I wore this sweater once an it became covered in large pills, so it looks old and worn out already. I was looking for something a bit dressy, but this is not it. After one wearing, it goes in my pile of yard work clothes. Unrelated to the pilling issue, I washed it and put it in the dryer on medium heat, because it came out of the washer wrinkled, and it shrank. The sleeves still fit loose. It is a warm sweater, though.

Warm, good looking sweater
This sweater looks wonderful. My only hesitation is that it pills a bit after a few wearings. I have a shaver that does solves the problem. I got a medium, but exchanged for a small.

Great sweater
I bought this a while back. I returned it because it had wool in it. I missed that info in the description. My bad for not checking more carefully. LL Bean was great and gave me a refund
