Uncomfortable!
I am returning this backpack. It was on sale, and sometimes there is a reason for that. When trying it on and wearing it for a bit, I found that the shoulder straps were very high on my neck and constantly rubbed against it. Figuring out how to get used to discomfort is not a good way to start with any purchase. I found an earlier reviewer had the solution—the straps need to be curved away from the neck at the top. Note to designers. Otherwise, I liked all the features of the pack, which I needed for traveling.

Well made.
I used it for the first time hiking in Acadia National park. It had enough space to hold the essentials. It provided nice support with the waist and chest straps. It is sturdy yet not too heavy which makes it easy on the back.
