Great Pack
Bought this pack a while ago and use it on most trips, mines "Orange" The pack works great except as a under the seat carryon. I have not found a way to stow the waist stabilizer so that it doesn't catch when retrieving it from under the seat. I would find the unit much more useful if the stabilizers could be detached when they weren't needed and then reattached when warranted. Actually I have thought of cutting them off entirely.
I have also added a semi rigid fom insert into the bottom of the main compartment for my travel computer.

Ridge Runner Pack 26
Great pack. Very comfortable with lots of space. Plenty of adjusting straps and there is a space for adding a water bladder.

Too short - Not made for long torso
I bought one of these several years ago for myself, and several more for my kids who wanted one for day hikes. It is a well-built and well-organized pack for hiking and mountain biking. However, they are short, and the hip belt will ride across your abdomen if you have more than a 19-20 inch torso. For some reason, despite having numerous tall options in clothing (except hunting pants) and sleeping bags, LL Bean has missed the mark on constructing a day pack for taller people with a 22-24 inch torso.
