Mud Rug from
Poor product
Received this rug about a month ago. There are two areas on each side that don’t lie flat causing a toe catch in the rug. I have tried placing various heavy items on the raised areas for several days but didn’t flatten at all. I am very disappointed with this rug. The weight is lighter than expected and the fact that the rug doesn’t lie flat are not what I would have expected from llbean. Look carefully before purchasing this rug.

Just what we were looking for
This is a rugged but nice looking front entry mat. I know from past purchases that it cleans easily. The color is a dark dusty blue and doesn't show dirt. No slipping, either. Nice product!

Tiny’s Water Hog
Okay, we have other water hog mats for humans around, the breezeway, back entrance, though we may be down one since down sizing. But this one just purchased is Tiny Dancers, the 8 pound terror of a cat. Tiny loves to scratch these and after five years we decided she deserved a new one, since she had not scratched any furniture. Her opinion? I don’t know, if the sun doesn’t shine she tells us loudly and forcefully. Thinking she likes it since she took right to it and rarely complained while scratching. Thanks LLBean for this fine product. And Tiny thanks you too, nope that was her snoring.

Perfect Mat For Cat's Feeding Station
It seemed appropriate for our Maine Coon cat to have a product from a Maine company like L.L. Bean, but beyond that, this mat has worked perfectly as a surface upon which to place his food and water bowls. Cleanup of any food he spills out of his bowl is very easy, since such spillage does not get embedded in the mat and is easily removed. Bonus points that this product is made in the U.S. and is from recycled material.

Kitchen rug
I use it in the kitchen to protect the floor and for comfort standing while working in the kitchen. It does the job and looks good, plus it doesn't slip like my old kitchen rug did. Haven't had to wash it yet, but when I do, I plan to take it out on the deck and hose it down.
