Poor zipper choice
I purchased the feather fleece knowing it would have a longer tail than many of the other fleece styles as noted by previous comments. Not a problem since it covers my bum, which I expected. However, I'm not as excited by the zipper used in this garment. As noted, it does seem to be reversed for a woman's jacket which I can deal with but I'm not too sure how long it will last. The zipper seems to be rather cheap; I'll be amazed if it lasts that long, especially since the tail of the jacket is longer meaning it's more likely to be pulled apart. I expect better quality from LL Bean.

Color was not what I expected
Was disappointed with the color. I was expecting it to be pink, since the color was called "pale rose", but it looks more like peach or salmon.

Thin material, cheap quality with a high price
I ordered this thinking it was a thicker fleece. When it arrived and i put it on the material was thin. It would not have kept me warm by any means. I have an old fleece jacket from another retailer that is much thicker. It was literally one piece of fleece fabric for the inside and outside. There wasn't even a reinforced lining or anything. For the price LL Bean charged for this "fleece" jacket it definitely was not worth the high price tag. Needless to say I returned it and won't be buying any fleece jackets from LL Bean. Thin and cheap quality with a high price point.

Sizing is way off. Started with a small that was giant. Then an extra small that fit. Noticed the poorly constructed zipper and how that black longer flap at the rear doesn't work with the cords at all. Too sporty a flap. I was hoping to replace my earlier version of this sweater that came without the rear flap and that I could easily wear with my cords or a nice pair of other Bean slacks that I own. The zipper broke last November. I am hoping to have the zipper repaired. Does Bean still offer this as a solution??? I'd love to send it back to you so that I don't add it to the landfills of our Nation.

A near miss
Wanted to love this. I'd been looking for a lightweight fleece full zip jacket with pockets for some time - great as a sweater layer with pockets. The weight is good, but the cut is too weird for me and the LL Bean photos online are deceiving - too wide at the bottom and I don't like the large drop in length in the back. Looks like something an elf would wear, but not a good fit it you're tall/thin.
