Our sweater is crafted from 100% premium lambswool yarns that are richly textured and noticeably softer than competitors' versions. In fact, it's practically impossible to find other ragg sweaters made without using lesser wool-blend yarns. Soft and warm
This sweater was a great find. The wool is soft and comfortable, not scratchy. Very warm. Beautiful colors. Size M fit as expected for LLBean. Made well, great quality! I would buy it again.

Amazing Quality
This is the type of LL Bean purchase that makes you realize that you truly get what you pay for. This is well crafted, and thick wool. I received tons of compliments on the one day I was able to wear it. (I live in the south and ordered it late in the season.) Looking forward to getting lots of use next season.

Hard to Find Wool Sweater
It’s very difficult to find a nice heavy wool sweater at a reasonable price point, so when I saw that this was on sale at LL Bean I jumped at it. I already had ones of these in a different color that I purchased probably 7 years ago. What I noticed when comparing the two is that the newer one is not as thick, which was disappointing. Also, the color was not what I thought I was ordering. There were two on the site with Brown patterns and I wanted the darker one. What arrived was more muted and less attractive for my coloring. I ended up keeping it because I looked on the site and saw that the darker one was no longer available. I should have returned it given the lighter weight and different color, but I kept it and am sure it will keep me nice and warm.

Mildew Sweater
The fit is great and the sweater is beautiful, but it sticks like a moldy, musty cottage. I just brought it to the dry cleaner to see if they could remove the stench. I’ve bought at least 20 sweaters from L.L. Bean over the years and I’ve never had this issue.
