This great-looking traditional outerwear combines the rugged durability of waxed cotton and the warmth of down insulation. Tough British Millerain waxed cotton is water resistant and highly abrasion resistant.

Awesome waxed down at a stellar price!
This is a high quality, true waxed down garment. Ll bean did not disappoint with this one!! I normally wesr a large, but the medium is roomy enough for wearing non bulky layers.
I love this jacket so much I plan to get one in every color. If you are a fan of real waxed cotton outdoor clothing, do not miss out on this. It is the best out there and at a very reasonable price point. I am so happy that this is available in women’s sizing.

Waxed Down Sweater
Love this “waxed down sweater”. Love the way it feels on me and the fit - an added bonus for me are all the pockets! I will agree with another reviewer who mentioned that it does seem to collect lent easily but that can be taken care of easily enough. I definitely recommend this “sweater” (not sure why it’s called that, lol).

Huge disappointment!
This is an expensive jacket and the cuffs and the sleeves are beginning to wear and fray with daily use.
