Be careful!
I bought these towels and hand towels in Flint. I had previously not had any problems with items purchased in this color; however, after the first was in cold they faded to a peculiar bluish gray. Also, they snag a bit, although I am not sure why. I also bought a packaged set of these towels but upon using the individually purchased items I believe I will be returning them and just ordering white.

Doesn't absorb
I have washed the towels twice and have been using them this week. They are still not absorbing water well. Water clings to the surface and rubs off back onto me if I reuse a part of the towel. Our older, worn towels still dry better. I am going to launder them once more before deciding whether to return them.
What did they do to make cotton unabsorbent?

Excellent bath towels.
I purchased these wonderful towels about a month ago. They are soft, absorbent, good looking, and quite sizable. The color selection is excellent - the color I bought is called Flint - a lovely soft grey. I advise that you wash them - cold, no fabric softener - before you use them the first time.
