Our most comfortable PFD for the kayaker, this coast guard-approved PFD is designed specifically for the high-back seats found on most recreational kayaks. It will allow the freedom of movement you need to paddle comfortably.
Because most PFDs aren't very comfortable to wear while seated, people tend to use them as seats or strap them onto the deck of their boat. The Comfort Back PFD is so comfortable you'll want to keep it on while sitting in your kayak seat. You'll barely feel the thin foam between your back and the seat. Shell and liner is now made from recycled fabric.
- Shell is made from 600D recycled polyester.
- Flotation provided by lightweight polyethylene foam.
- 200D recycled nylon inner lining.
- Two zip-closure pockets for storage.
- Thin foam insert on back won't feel bulky against high-back kayak seats.
- Entry grip tab at base of zipper.
- Lash tab on the rear left shoulder allows the mounting of a strobe or other accessories.
- Eight adjustment straps provide a customized fit.
- Reflective accents provide increased visibility.
- Two open-top pockets, perfect for stashing paddling gloves.

Looked good but I returned it because of zipper
Quality looked great and fit and finish were good, but I returned it unused to the store because, as another reviewer noted, the zipper was in a place that it made it very difficult to start the zipper. Once zipped up, it looked to be an excellent product.

Does not Zip
One would think someone would test this thing for, you know, actually zipping? Why would you place a zipper without any extra frabric ring on top of a thick cushion, not allowing it to zip? Nice life jacket, with a giant design flaw. Returning

Can't Zip
Was hopeful this would replace my grungy old lifejacket. The price was right, but when I put it on I was unable to zip it up. The two sides were so thick that the zipper would not come together. I was disappointed and had to send it back
