Travel with your own “room”.
I haven’t used this yet, but I bought it because a friend had this tent and used it at our last camp trip. She slept one person on a cot and had plenty of room to change her clothes and stand up in the tent. Having a door rather than crawling out of a low opening is a real plus. This tent took a little longer to put up than my two person tent, but it’s worth it for having the convenience of an actual “room.” It is a fairly heavy tent so good for car camping rather than for bike packing or backpacking. Still not nearly as heavy as a 10 that can sleep more people without losing any of the benefits of a tall tent. Note: you do need to purchase a footprint separately.

Solid Tent
I like this tent a lot - for one or two person camping. For set up, I used a heavily discounted footprint of another tent and a heavy duty tarp as my ground cloth (1/2 star for no model footprint available) and a movers blanket on the interior floor. Set up accomplished fairly easily solo, the only challenge was getting the rain fly, but a taller person wouldn't have trouble. The door is nice, but it really doesn't seal (another 1/2 star) until zipped. A couple of fully ripe black walnuts fell on the tent and it "flinched", but didn't back down at all. My now adult aged chilldren laughed at me for "glamping" after family trips roughing it through the years. The height is great and with proper pre-caution I expect it will last a good long time.

Very Pleased With This Tent
I am a 5'3" woman in my 60's and had no problem setting this tent up by myself. I chose this tent for the straight walls & magnetic door. Plenty of headroom, easy in & out during the day and easily zips shut at night. I was very pleased with how well it worked out. I purchased the Adventure 4 person footprint as another review recommended and it fit perfectly. I just put the tent corner poles through footprint corner rings. The floor stayed dry after some rain despite a puddle that formed in a low spot between the footprint & floor. It showed damp but didn't soak through even though it sat there for 24 hours. After reading some reviews about the floor, I decided to be careful and put down a blanket because of the cot legs. So far, no problems with my 1st 1 week trip. Enough room for a second cot without being crowded, storage under the cot. I was very comfortable in this tent.
