Disappointing
I’ve worn Bean’s shorts like these for years, finding the multiple pockets (especially the zip cargo pockets) to be extremely useful. But the styling of these shorts is really disappointing, expecting the hips to be much wider, so that the front pockets bulge way out even when they’re empty. Also, changing the cargo pockets to Velcro flap means the flap will curl outward to catch anything and, more importantly, now requires me to use two hands to open the flap to put in or remove my phone or wallet. The zip cargo pockets required only one hand to zip/unzip to access my phone. When I’m walking the dog or grocery shopping, I often have something in one hand.
