Our original SunSmart™ apparel, Tropicwear was first introduced in 1992 to protect destination anglers from the hot tropical sun. It's been updated with a better fit, new stretch woven fabric that's softer and better ventilation. What a wonderful, colorful shirt for sunny days
I bought this shirt for my afternoon walks on sunny or buggy days. The fabric is breathable, light, and airy so I don’t overheat. I bought 2 more after wearing the first one and have worn them all depending on the color I need that day. My protected arms are happy!

Please Use Zippers, Not Velcro
I didn’t like the shirts because I like zippered pockets and lots of them for walking and hiking. I do not like Velcro used to close pockets. Also the particular size I selected was too boxy and a size too large so I had to send back the shirts for that reason, too.

XS was overly large
I like the color and the light weight, but the XS is huge. Years ago, I think this would have been considered a Large size. I was also annoyed by the large (but at least pale) "LL Bean" logo on the front and cuff. I won't buy another one of these.
