Not as advertised
I love LL Bean. Many purchases over the years. They blew it on this one. The hat is fine, but it is not what they show in the catalog. As other reviewers have stated, it does NOT come with the neck protector piece on the back. I got it 20 minutes ago, and it's already packed up and labelled for the return trip. I expect better that this from Bean.

Great Hat - I Now Have Two!
I purchased this first back in 2018 for a trip to Japan and it was great. I use it for gardening and while it has gotten a little dirty over the past 8 years, the stitching and structure are solid. Yes it can be washed in the sink easily, but I decided to get another that's new for going out and about. I am very happy with this hat, and an XL fits a big head just fine.

Perfect Hat!
This was the perfect hat for our trip to Hawaii. My husband wore it everywhere—even in the ocean! It’s such a pretty blue color, too. We will continue to order these every year!
