A REAL fishing hat
This is a real fishing hat ….take that from my nephews mouth cause he’s a real fisherman….we live across from the Detroit river on an island called Grosse ile and everyone fishes from a boat or their own pier and they all wear hats but none are as great as the real one from L L BEAN

Perfectly Designed
This hat is very lightweight. The sun protection to me is perfect without excess material: the shade in the back comes just down to the line of my t-shirt. There were some reviews that said that the bill was not long enough, but I disagree... the bill is similarly proportioned to other hats I own. I also like how the sun shade comes forward towards your temples. Finally, as a person with a 62cm head I love that they have sizes through XL. The XL feels roomy but not bulky, and the way the sweatband falls on the circumfrence of my head is comfortable but not necessarily loose. Well done LL Bean! The only remaining task is to actually make them look stylish ;)

Perfect for mowing!
I have worn this hat twice to mow. Light, adjustable, comfortable, covers my neck and ears! It also makes wearing my ear protection more comfortable!
