A Little Small
Bought the exact same size in another color which fit perfectly, but the Charcoal is noticeably smaller with shorter sleeves.
I think we're witnessing the decline of the LL Bean standard. Too bad.

Love this sweater. It fits very well after 4 days.
I noticed that many people commented on the donegal sweaters for having excessive fibers on the weave.
I copied the following from Wikipedia: While the weavers in County Donegal produce a number of different tweed fabrics, including herringbone and check patterns, the area is best known for a plain-weave cloth of differently-coloured warp and weft, with small pieces of yarn in various colours woven in at irregular intervals to produce a heathered effect. Such fabric is often labelled as "donegal" (with a lowercase "d") regardless of its provenance.
I also inquired from an Irish Friend, and he told me that the mills had very bad air quality making it difficult for the workers to breath. As a result, the pieces would fall into the woven material. Thus, this identifying trait has been noted as donegal.

A bit abrasive
The fabric felt abrasive. I ordered 4 sweaters from LL bean at the same time and this is the only one I didn’t like

Incredible
It's very comfy and I love wearing it. Bought it in a tall size and I love the slightly oversized feeling.

Fisherman sweater, crewneck
The burgundy sweater appeared to have lint all over it.

Update the Pictures
The sweater is very comfortable and has a high end feel. I’m knocking off a star for several reasons. I bought the burnt orange color. The pictured version must be from a previous year. This years version is pokadoted with random yellow and purple threads. It also fits a little smaller than pretty much any other 2xl I own.
