Disappointed Long-time Customer
I’m very disappointed in Bean’s quality. I bought this flashlight in Jan 2026 and haven’t used it much. It’s gone through two fresh batteries and now when I replaced a third it doesn’t work at all. I have a flashlight from the dollar store that works better. And there appear to be an inordinate number of one-star reviews. Save your money on this item.

Looks good but fails when you need it
Wow. What a dud! Bought in December 2025 and seldom used. I wanted to take it on vacation this summer. Tried it out and it fails. Light goes on for two seconds and then turns off. Light will not stay on no matter how many times you press. Amazing That L.L. Bean would sell such a defective product. Very dissatisfied

Handy pocket flashlight
Multiple features make this flashlight a go-to flashlight. One negative feature if carrying in one's pocket are the on:off buttons. More than once while hiking, a button compressed and the light came on unintentionally. Consider a redesign for on:off.
