Best pants Evah!
Last year, we were shopping at LL Bean and preparing for our European Trip. We knew we would want comfy pants for our long flight as well as easy-care travel and good looks. We came across a rack with the VentureStretch pants, and they caught our eye. They look great and come in a few colors. Though a bit pricey for me, we decided to buy three in beige, blue, and gray.
I will get to the point. THEY ROCK! I have never loved a pair of pants like I love these. They are comfortable, stylish and easy to care for and are now two years old and still look good. I was always comfortable wearing them and they provided the perfect temperature control.
They were easy to pack and held up to our 4 week trip. They are perfect for casual attire and work well for an evening out. I loved them.
Back home, I wear them all the time for work. They are perfect for my everyday wear in the office and easy to add a jacket for after-hours events. Plus, they do make me look good, YKIYK.
Best purchase in a long time and now that they are on sale...might be time to add a couple of more to my collection. Highly Recommend.

Good pants for travel or outdoor activities
Good pants. However, I wish they were more fitted. Plus, they are very light weight. For moderately cooler/colder temperatures, I would recommend a base layer.

Look and feel nice, but not sturdy
I love these pants for going out or doing things where they definitely won’t get damaged. That said, I got a new pair of recently and wore them one day while on vacation. I’m not even sure what happened, but I must have rubbed up against a brick wall or something like that. In any case, the pants were visibly damaged by what must’ve been fairly light abrasion since I wasn’t even aware of it. So while they look and feel nice, they’re not particularly sturdy.

Beware - fabric pulls fast!
I’ve been wearing the venture stretch for years and I love them. However, recently there was a fabric change and within a week I’ve seen pilling in the crotch and wear I carry my flashlight! Sure they’re super comfortable and light, but the previous fabric held up so well! I’m very disappointed with this change. If you don’t mind the look of a woolen sweater at all your wear points, go for them… but the greater concern is that they’re gonna wear thin fast.
