I bought these pants for a recent trip to Greece because I thought the lightweight fabric would be good for that climate; it was. However the thigh pockets were too small to hold my phone and, as is the case with many pants these days, the rise was too short. Not nearly the quality of product as my Cresta hiking pants.

In between sizes
I really like these tropic weight pants. I wear 38/40in my waist. So I ordered the xl. These were small so I exchanged for xxl. They were a bit large. Think I’m in between sizes. But I will keep them because they are comfortable .will wear with my belt. Will be good for spring and summer as they are lightweight.. LL Bean made the exchange easy.

Pants were baggier in the butt and the thighs than I would expect or like and the pockets were also not really deep enough for my phone to fit comfortably and securely. I returned them.
