This hard-wearing, but soft, fleece-lined heavyweight hooded sweatshirt will keep the cold out and the warmth in year after year.
The Katahdin Iron Works operated in the north woods for much of the 19th century, employing thousands of hardworking Mainers. Inspired by their grit and strength, we designed our Katahdin Iron Works line of rugged work clothes to stand up to all kinds of rough use.
- 91% cotton, 9% polyester.
- 100% polyester fleece lining; sleeves are lined with 100% polyester taffeta.
- Machine wash and dry.
- Taffeta-lined sleeves for easy on/off.
- Body is lined with soft berber fleece for extra warmth and comfort.
- Triple-needle stitching adds durability.
- Underarm gussets for added mobility.
- Ribbed trim at cuffs and hem.
- Zip front.
- Specially-designed hood fits well even over a baseball cap.
- Front pockets, one with interior security pocket.

Loved for 20+ years but now priced out
If you can afford this, it's a great product!
My child has worn a Katahdin sweatshirt since they were about 5...and it is still a favorite. But at this price, we will be unable to continue gifting them. The colors are nice and the jacket is warm, cozy and well-made. I got one in a discontinued color last year but...no purchase will be possible in 2026.
