Not LL Bean quality
I bought this for our new king size bed before moving from Maine to SC five months ago. I just washed it for the second time (following directions given) and it is falling apart already. I can't believe an LL Bean product would be this cheaply made. I can't send it back because it is the only mattress pad I have. Very disappointed.

Infuriating to dry and put on the bed
This thing takes forever to dry in the dryer because the thick padded part has a habit of getting stuck inside, no matter how many times you rearrage it so that the wet parts are exposed to dryer air. Furthermore getting this thing on a queen size mattress is an insane game of whack-a-mole -- one corner gets on, another pops off.
It is really comfy though.

Good quality
I purchased this a month ago and I’m happy with it. No plasticy feel or noise. It does slide a bit toward the center and wrinkle but that’s easily managed.
