Not a durable outdoor chair
I’ve been using Bean products for more than 50 years and I’ve been satisfied with the quality. But the Easy Comfort Camp Chair is seriously flawed. I bought 2 of these chairs June 30, 2023, almost 3 years to the day and as I look at these chairs the fabric is faded, frayed, worn out at the corners and edges and badly torn. On one chair, the fabric back is almost completely separated from the post (see attached). At $100 each these chairs are a huge disappointment. They’re expensive, haven’t held up, and are a poor value for the money. Bean design team really needs to upgrade the fabric so that it’s thicker, tear resistant, UV protected and colorfast. In my opinion the only place these chairs belong is in a living room. The inexpensive folding chairs you see at Dicks and grocery stores are 1/5 the cost, last longer and are a better value in my opinion.
