Seams make cleaning difficult
It has multiple seams inside unlike the smaller version that is all smooth, so cleaning will be more difficult. They've offered us a refund but during the school year it's difficult to operate without a lunch box!

Glad I got the expandable one!
This has proven to be a great school lunchbox. The bento box that goes inside it is a tight squeeze, but the expandable option means that it fits nicely and we can toss in an ice pack. It seems to have done a good job keeping the food cold and the colors are fun.
