A new twist on a nautical tradition, our Irish fisherman cardigan sweater features a flattering shorter length and a more fitted style in soft cotton yarns.
The original fisherman's sweaters of the Aran Islands were knit with designs that told stories of a rich coastal heritage. From good luck to a plentiful catch, special sentiments were represented in each and every stitch. We've recreated those same authentic cable patterns in a fitted yet easygoing silhouette.

Excellent quality, beautiful sweater
I purchased the blue one about a month ago and received so many compliments on it. I love it so much that I went ahead and purchased the ivory one and it just arrived. The sweaters are true to size. I am 5'4" and 115 lbs. I purchased the blue one in Medium for a more relaxed fit and the ivory one in Small for a tidier look. They are all cotton and they feel so good on. Nice weight. I will love them for years to come so they are worth every penny. If they came out with more colors I'd buy those too. :-)

Very soft and comfortable
Runs a tad small but with wear will stretch out again. Typically I wear a XS/S in bean tops but I could have gone with a M.
