Not relaxed; think skinny jeans.
I bought these and was so excited for them to arrive. They were back ordered and it took over a month for arrival. But when they finally got here I was disappointed bc they fit very snuggly. They are tight through the calf, thighs and hips. Now, they have material woven in with denim (bean flex I guess) that makes them stretchy so they move ok but I don’t like jeans stuck to my body. I was not a fan of skinny jeans and thought getting “relaxed” style would mean there would be room to move in them. Not so.
So I am returning the pair I bought.

Great fit!
I am very happy with my new LLBean jeans. They fit perfectly and the petite rise/length is exactly right. There’s just enough stretch to move freely without bagging over time. I haven’t washed them yet but I don’t anticipate any issues; all of my LLBean clothes wash and dry well if the instructions are followed.

Inconsistent Sizing
I bought this same exact pair of jeans a year ago - they fit great from the start and I still wear them. This new pair is much too tight in the waist. Never can tell with Bean pants. The fabric and length (I really appreciate finding a Medium Tall) are okay, but sitting in them, they cut into my middle.

Surprised by LL Bean Sizing System
First time buying LL Bean jeans. Ordered my usual Size 6 MT. Length was good but surprised (astounded) by how small they were (really small). Returned. Figured even an 8 wouldn't work, so ordered a 10 (first time in my life for this size. Well, I could zip them up, and the MT length was great, but they were a tad baggy in the thighs. Returned. So, now I know not to order pants from LLBean and it cost me around $12.00 to find that out. Hated to give them a 1 star. They're good jeans, but it's too costly to find your size.

Bring back the BeanFlex straight leg jeans
I bought my first pair of BeanFlex jeans about six months ago. I then bought them in each color (all 4) because they fit so well. I did go up a size after reading so many reviews saying they run a bit small, and the fit was perfect. These jeans do not bag out like the LL Bean True Shape jeans sometimes do. They keep their shape all through the day. However when I went order another pair I found out they've been discontinued. Please bring them back.

My new favorite jeans!
I hadn't bought a new pair of jeans in several years so wasn't sure which of Bean's many styles to try, or even which size. As it turned out, I chose well. These jeans fit me perfectly, have just the right amount of stretch, and are flattering. Very pleased! I bought the 4P, which seemed to run a bit small compared to some of Bean's other items, but fit me perfectly.
