Good Field Shirt
A nice heavy shirt. Is soft enough to be comfortable, but still stiff enough to give some brush protection. Surprisingly it is a bit noisy when you move, but hopefully that will go away one it gets more broken in. Was a little worried that it was slightly fitted, but it fits my old man body fine with plenty of room to move. It washes well, not that it looks like it's been pressed, but it is a field shirt and definitely does not need to be ironed. I found the L.L. Bean embroidered above the left pocket a bit irritating, but I got the dark russet plaid and it is not too noticeable.

Great cut/features. Could use pocket flaps.
Overall, I’m pleased with the shirt. I also have two of the older, Canadian made shirts that have held up well through some hunts, hikes and general wear. The new shirt’s fabric feels thinner, harder faced. I like the bi-swing shoulders. Aesthetically, the shirt gets compliments. The two things I would change—a field shirt should have flapped pockets in my old-school opinion and I wish we could get these sourced from the US or Canada again (I can dream, can’t I)!
