We've taken our rugged ripstop shorts to the next level of comfort with an ultrasoft feel, a touch of stretch and a soft-knit elastic waistband.
- In a durable ripstop blend of 98% cotton with 2% spandex for just the right amount of stretch.
- Machine wash and dry.
- Roll from 10" to 7" inseam and secure with twill roll tabs and snaps.
- Faux-fly front.
- Comfortable knit waistband with adjustable drawstring.
- Side pockets and two back patch pockets with snaps.

Not what I expected
I wear a medium size and have purchased another short in a large for a little more comfort on my waist and they were perfect. Not too large and comfortable. I purchased the large size for this short and it is beyond large and the fabric is rough. I'm not new to L.L.Bean and expected a better produxt.

I wear them to workout. I like the slip-on, tie string, too. Got them on sale as a bonus!

I bought several ripstop shorts 2 years ago and wear them to death. I got these thinking they are similar. The waist is too low and the length is too long, the rise feels too short. They looked terrible on me and returned immediately. I got my regular size of XS in this type LLB shorts, I weigh 120.
