Bought these in white. They are uncomfortably sheer and a bit too short. The fit is unflattering in mid rise, and they seem smallish for size 8. Sadly, will return.

I love the quality of the linen and light feel, but the elastic waist is too thick making the fit feel tight around my waist. I think a thinner elastic, maybe half the width of yours would fit more comfortable for all day wear.

Pants too short!
I wanted to love these pants and 30” inseam should have been perfect but they were too short and didn’t look like the picture. Sadly, I had to return them.

okay, should be better
The linen fabric is coarse and stiff, even after washing. The pockets are lined with the same material - they ought to be lined with a lighter material so they wouldn't bunch up. Personally, I think all drawstring pants should come to the natural waist. LLBean has a so-far loyal clientele of mature women (I've been a customer for about 55 years), and lower-cut pants do not suit us. I'll be keeping these, since I have so few choices.

These pants looked cute on line. They seems to run quite big and long even thought I bought a petite. Not sure I will be able to wear them.
