Nice pants but don't fit me
These are lovely pants but the bottom of the legs were too wide and long. I'm a size 2x and the waist was fine. I'm 5"6" so not really short. I don't like cropped pants so I was really hoping these would fit.

Beware of white!
I bought these last year in navy and love them. I was excited to see them offered in white, and although white is always a risk, I hoped for the same high-quality, substantial linen. They are sheer! At best, they could be worn as a cover-up over a swimsuit. I wanted more versatile pants. They’ll be returned.

No plus size 14W or 16W?
Plus size women buy "W" sizes because they are fuller thru the hip and thigh. If I bought a 18W I would swim in them but if I buy the 16 without the "W", the pant would pull across my belly and butt. Talk to your designer.

The white is sheer!
I bought these in both the white and mariner blue. They are comfortable and are definitely lightweight, but the white is completely sheer. Even nude panties are visible. So disappointed, considering L.L. Bean usually has such high-quality items.

Perfect Summer Weight
I was in much need of classic 100% linen pants with a draw -string. I needed summer pants, nothing works better than 100% Linen. Linen does get loose after a bit of wearing while the draw string keeps them up. I am 70, weigh 180, 5-9". I did measure my hips and bottom and had to go up a size to 16. The length is great. Its still winter here in Minnesota (February) and not sure how they will wear, hoping they don't get to baggy after wearing. I did not want to wait until spring to order and deal with low inventory. I learned from last year, I waited to long. I love classic 100% linen. It's been hard to find 100% Linen in all the stores that has the great quality as LLB does. I purchased three, pairing them with a few great linen long sleeve shirts. I love how linen looks and wears with all its texture and wrinkles. I do have a wonderful Iron and I iron all my clothes.
