Perfect white jeans
White jeans are so versatile in the summer! The true shape style is the perfect fit for me and I love everything about them--they're fairly light weight, with a little bit of stretch, but still opaque so the pockets don't show through. I'm 5'5", 128 lbs, and a size 8 (regular length) is just right after cool wash/low temp dryer.

True Shape High Rise Straight Leg Jean is Terrific
The True Shape High Rise Straight Leg Jean is an essential, terrific jean to wear.
I have ordered the "slim leg" version which is no longer available, but I do love and enjoy the straight leg jean which should not ever, ever be discontinued. The high rise, straight leg jean is truly a classic which people will continue to appreciate as the years continue.

I really like the fabric mix and like the fit when I have sized up. Note that this is classic fit rather than some of the other fit options. That means they run a little small. I really like the oak color -- it's like a taupe color.

i have 2 other pairs of this jean bought a few years ago. Same size-4-my measurements have not changed but these are much smaller and way too tight. LLBean is very inconsistent in sizing. very disappointed, but at least i used the Bean credit card and returned them for free.

Perfect!
I've been looking for white jeans for weeks (no, really), and here they are. They really are straight-leg--neither wide-leg and baggy, nor the super slim almost leggings that look great on leggy 18-year-olds, but not, alas, on me. The fabric is summer weight denim, and the 10 Petite fits perfectly. Won't even need hemming. Please, Lord, don't let them shrink.

Baggy!
"True Shape" is true for about 20 minutes, and then the fabric starts stretching out. What at first looks like a tidy fit becomes baggy.
I wish LLBean would make a denim jean that was 100% cotton without any spandex or other "comfort" yarns.
