Excellent, highly-recommended pants
The pants are very comfortable and versatile. They are dressy enough for many restaurants but also work well for hiking, especially when the pants are converted into shorts.

Pants inseam is not wrong.
I have a 30" inseam. the LLBean pants withh 30" inseam are too long, so i ordered a replacement with a 29" inseam. The pants with a 29" inseam were too short..there was about a 4" difference. So i am spending $20 to have the hem on the pants with a 30" inseam shortened. very disappointed.

Solid convertible pant.
I’ve worn these pants over three days of hiking. Great weight, decently resistant to light rain (for about an hour), good fit (32x32), easy to wash (hand washed in the sink and line-dried), and easy to use as shorts. I’d buy again if I needed another pair of convertible pants.

Great pants
I used them daily on my trip to India. Driving TukTuk daily for 7-9 hours, across Rajasthan. They did great, comfortable, stretchy, convertible feature is great for for cold mornings and hot days. Zipper pockets are great, perfect fit for passport, money, papers. Never loose anything from the front pockets, they are a great size for the pro max iPhone. Highly recommend.

Short pockets are a deal breaker
Come on LLBean...Be an outsider and design pants different than your competition. The material is great. The waste is slightly small - I recommend to order 1-2 inches bigger depending on your preference of just fit or a little looser. It all goes down hill with the pockets. The pockets, like every other brand, is becoming shorter and smaller. The leg pocket is great to put a phone or tools for quick access while hiking. Unfortunately, the size is too short for a phone to fit into the pocket completely and still being able to close the pocket. The waist pockets are shallow and items can fall out. These pants are better quality than the competition in material, but, unfortunately, the design is the same as everyone else with shrinking pockets. Think differently. Be an outsider on some of your designs and distinguish yourself from the competition.
