Perfect starter rod
This was my first fly rod. Perfect rod to start out on and versatile - can throw dry flies and heavier double nymph set ups well. If you want to want to get the most out of the rod eventually- throw a better fly line on there and can really feel the backbone of the rod. It's accurate and exactly what you need to kick off the sport.

The rod came as a complete package but the line that came with it was too light and I was unable to load the rod to get a good cast. I will have to buy a proper weight fly line to get the rod to load and get a good cast.
