I’m using this with a 7’6” 3wt rod for panfish in front of the cabin and small streams in the Driftless. It’s lightweight and looks great.. the pictures don’t really do the finish justice. It’s a much richer anodized finish. Great reel.

Best reel for the money
I have a couple of these. They are well made, robust, and reliable. Also LL Bean seems to keep making the same design so spare spools remain available. I have other reels in this price range and these are by far the best.
