Truly strong & lightweight
I purchased these poles to upgrade 30-year old Leila’s for a backpacking trip. I wanted strong but very lightweight poles and these were perfect! The extra stability, adjustable wrist straps, pole strength, quick adjustment, and featherweight ‘packability’ of these were top notch!! Just what I was hoping for—another winner from LLBean.

Not for the serious hiker!
I used my trekking poles today on a 9.3 mile hike. Before even reaching 2 miles, on "basket" came off, and the other a half mile later. The construction is very poor. Better off buying a different brand. Anybody want them?
