Built to Last Through Everything
We just purchased our second L.L.Bean backpack for our 10-year-old daughter, and we came back because these backpacks truly last. Her first backpack she had for four years, went through everything, being thrown around, overstuffed with school supplies, carried on trips, and plenty of everyday wear and tear It held up incredibly well. However, she needed a new size so it was time for a new backpack.
With an active family and a child who puts her backpack to the test, durability really matters to us. L.L.Bean makes a backpack that is built to last, and we’ve been so impressed with the quality that buying another one was an easy decision. Highly recommend!

Replacing one I purchased 8 years ago!
I bought this for my grandson about 8 years ago. He has used it for school every year and it is finally getting a little worn and outer pocket zipper not functioning propertly. But is still in good enough condition to use and washable. I wanted to get him a different color.

Good backpack
Strongly made and with easy to handle zips. Lots of room inside. Perfect for books, clothes etc taken on a weekend trip. Side pockets for water bottles would be even better if they could be pulled in more tightly. Otherwise it’s an excellent backpack and I also chose a color that really appeals to me.
