Good looking but not warm for winter
Very nice, good looking gloves. Quite supple leather. If only they were warm on those very chilly days when I go for a walk on the beach on the Cape. While it was colder than usual here this winter I didn't expect that I'd have to put my gloved hands in my pockets while looking out at Nantucket. On that note - epic fail. But I suppose for early spring and early fall they'd be fine. Just a bit disappointed with this being an LL Bean product.

Sizing is Wrong
Nice gloves except that the sizing is way wrong. I wear a size large glove, and bought a size large, but the entire glove and fingers were way to big. The fingers in these gloves were made for long webbed prongs.

Great looking and functional
Purchased these gloves approximately six years ago and have been loving them ever since. Really great look and functional for both more formal and more rugged occasions. As some other reviewers have noted, they could be warmer, but I wasn’t expecting them to be perfect for single digit temps. Also run a bit large. Now that I’ve had them for some time they have developed a nice patina, but I’m wondering if anyone from L.L. Bean could recommend a good oil or other treatment to refurbish them a bit.
