Comfortable and versatile
I bought these a few months ago, and wore them for the first time on a e wk road trip to several national parks. They were very comfortable in both the desert heat and the cool higher elevations.

The pants are as comfortable as usual. However I wish the waist elastic went all the way around. It seems to stop at the Bean label in the back.

A Great Summer Crop
I own 4 pair of the Vista Camp shorts, and loved the fabric and fit, so I bought the Vista Camp crop this year. The fabric is so lightweight and cool, and the fit is relaxed. I love the deep pockets, elastic waist, and the elastic drawstring means you don't have to untie and tie every time you take them off. Perfect for all everyday activities.

These pants are of good quality and comfortable. I like the zip-pockets as well. Good to wear on a hot day or when out getting wet in the water as they dry quickly.

Best ever!
Big fan of the Vista Camp collection and this is the second pair of crops I have. Have 4 pair of the pants and these crops are the best! Super soft and comfortable plus lightweight and airy. Can’t say enough good things about these!

Don't Ever Change These Pants
I practically live in these pants once the temp tops 80 degrees. They are comfortable, lightweight and flattering for my body shape. I own multiple pairs of most colors. Because I work in a business casual environment, I can even wear the black, granite or navy pants to the office. I'm short, so these look more like ankle-length pants on me. I can't imagine traveling without these pants. My big fear is LL Bean deciding to change or update the cut of these pants, or use a different fabric. Please don't ever do that! These are perfect as they are. I love the relaxed cut and sized down to L from my usual XL for a less baggy look. The fabric does pill from rubbing on the inner thighs over time and with frequent wearing, but I just wear my older pairs for weekends and running errands.

nice and lightweight but get pilly.
Overall I like these except that they get pilly pretty easily and not from any particular kind of wear. So before long the pants do not look good but can still be used for limited purposes, eg, gardening.
