Not soft at all!
I love the color & weight of these towels. You can tell that they are high quality. However, even after washing, they were not soft at all. I really wanted them to work but decided I couldn’t live with them.

Same as the other towels - One of the few poor choices I’ve made in buying from L.L. Bean. Not soft, miserly absorption. I gave them to my neighbor for her dog. She returned them with the same complaint. Very expensive rags.

Awesome Towels
We love these towels, they are high quality and everyone in the house gets their own color. With the LL Bean card we get free monogramming.
The towel is a great size and hold up great, we have had some for a couple years now and they look as good as when we bought them.

My Only Regret...
My only regret is not buying these sooner. These towels are amazing. Soft, comfortable and they dry fast...as in dry you fast and they air-dry fast. I've been to multiple "5 star" hotels and these beat them all hands down. A personal tip: if you have kids, get these monogramed. Our boys would always use a towel once a day and wash it because a sibling would also use it. If you know it's yours, they will last longer without a wash.
