Almost great
After a bad experience following a Wirecutter recommendation for another retailer’s towels that were so plush they never dried and mildewed in a few months, I wanted a lower GSM towel that was organic cotton and settled on these. I like them, they are reasonably soft yet absorbent (no fabric softener, wool dryer balls not sheets) and they dry pretty well if used once a day. But the stitching is not Bean quality. One of the hand towels had a seam running after the first wash. And one of the loops on the bath towels has already frayed through in two weeks of use. As others have said, the loops need to be moved to the long side of the towel. And there are no loops on the hand towels. And there should be a bath mat to match.

The texture and feel of the towels are great. They are also a great size.
