It would be 80 bucks somewhere else
It would cost 80 bucks somewhere else...the action is decent to call the hardware "cheap" is an understatement...I assume it costs more because it trades on LL Bean's name...they should not put their name on it....

Great rod....but
This rod has a great feel, super fun to fish with. However the durability is an issue. We have 3 rods and after 1 year of use a rod tip has fallen off. The rod is not damaged but the eye appearance was not sufficient glued on and is gone.
